Vifor Wind Project

Location: Vifor, Buzau County | Year: 2025

Project Overview: Vifor is on its way to becoming one of the largest new generation wind farms in Europe, located just 12 km from the Carpathian Mountains. It includes 30 V162-6.2 MW turbines of the EnVentus platform running in a 6.4 MW operating mode and having an installed capacity of 192 MW. It’s estimated that Vifor will play a significant role in reducing Romania’s dependence on fossil fuels, enhancing the country’s energy security and improving air quality.

Our Scope:

• Electrical measurements/Inspection/Walkdown - High Voltage measurements including connection of High Voltage cable on Transformer and Switchgear
• Earthing resistance measurement and step + touch voltage of WTG earthing system
