Telecommunications Engineer

Job Description:

• Organize, coordinate, and actively participate in maintenance interventions, both corrective and preventive, as outlined in service contracts;

• Identify and determine technical solutions for the design, installation, implementation, troubleshooting, protection, and relocation of telecommunications networks – particularly fiber optic networks – following site inspections;

• Determine the required materials and equipment for each project/worksite;

• Participate in the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications/fiber optic equipment, as well as in the acceptance and delivery of completed works;

• Prepare the necessary documentation for completed works, including Technical Projects/As-Built/Execution Details, Commissioning Reports, Equipment Handover Protocols, Work Acceptance Reports, and Measurement Reports/Logs related to the performed activities.

Requirements:

• University degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, Automation and Computer Science, or Transport Engineering;

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;

• Courses in the field of Telecommunications are an advantage;

• Proficiency in using graphic applications for technical projects (e.g. AutoCAD, EPLAN, Visio);

• Knowledge of computer networks and transmission/communication infrastructure equipment;

• Aptitudini utilizare echipamente defectoscopie infrastructura fibra optica – OTDR, Optical Fusion Splicer, Source Power-Meter;

• Ability to interpret equipment diagrams and network architecture layouts;

• Technical skills in handling tools, equipment, and machinery;

• Fit for working at heights;

• Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments (construction sites, wind turbines, photovoltaic parks, transformer stations, etc.);

• Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information;
• Team spirit, effective communication, and adaptability to various tasks;
• Category B driving license.
